Summary |
BioSTL advances innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup creation through initiatives that capitalize on St. Louis’s world-class medical and plant bioscience industries and enhance regional prosperity. BioSTL’s Bioscience Workforce Collaboration aims to expand workforce development opportunities in the biosciences by providing industry-aligned training, hands-on externships, and structured apprenticeship pathways for opportunity youth (young adults between the ages of 16 and 24 who are disconnected from school and work) and residents in historically marginalized communities. JSMF’s investment will provide 300 individuals with bioscience training and wraparound support that addresses barriers to employment. |
