| Summary | Cortex accelerates inclusive economic growth in the St. Louis region by leveraging high-quality facilities, developing programs that build knowledge and networks, and convening strategic partnerships that attract and support emerging and established companies. Through the MO Tech First initiative, Cortex seeks to enhance the pipeline of underrepresented talent entering high-wage tech careers by improving nontraditional talent training and simplifying the learning and hiring process for both job seekers and employers. JSMF’s investment will support the evaluation of the first year of MO Tech First’s implementation. |
