Neuronal Ethology: Watching Neurons in Their Natural Setting

This collaborative will perform research explicitly dedicated to perfecting both the transgenetic and neuroimaging tools available. The researchers believe the power of these tools to answer fundamentally important questions in neuroscience is hampered by the lack of technological refinement. The effort would not only advance the research capabilities at the research institution but those of the entire neuroscientific community.
